ตามที่เกิดทอร์นาโดในพื้นที่ภาคกลางของสหรัฐฯ ซึ่งรวมถึงมลรัฐมิสซูรี มลรัฐโอคลาโฮมา และยังคงขยายพื้นที่การเกิดอยู่ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ จึงขอแจ้งให้ประชาชนไทยในพื้นที่ติดตามข่าวสารจากทางการท้องถิ่นเกี่ยวกับการเกิดทอร์นาโดและข้อปฏิบัติ โดยปฏิบัติตามการแจ้งเตือนโดยเคร่งครัด เพื่อความปลอดภัยของท่าน สำหรับการปฏิบัติตนในเบื้องต้นเมื่อเกิดทอร์นาโด สามารถดูได้จาก http://emergency.cdc.gov/ disasters/tornadoes/during.asp
