Thailand attends ICJ’s reading of Judgment on Phra Viharn
On 11 November 2013 at the Peace Palace in the Hague, Netherlands, Mr. Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Thai delegation attended the reading of the International Court of Justice’s judgment on Cambodia’s request for interpretation of the Court’s 1962 Judgment on the case concerning the Temple of Phra Viharn.(see detail in News Section)
Consul General and his wife attend the Royal Kathina Ceremony at Wat Dhammaram, Chicago
Kathina is a Buddhist ceremony which comes at the end of Vassa, the three-month rainy season retreat for Theravada Buddhists. It is a time of giving and expressing gratitude to monks. Buddhists bring donations to temples, especially new robe for the monk.

The Exhibition includes Royal textiles, jewelry, and rare artifacts.
